Was listening to one of his songs and i suddenly wondered why it was such a waste to restrict his talent to regional films...
A very versatile composer...who composes for south indian films... can handle a lot of instruments himself...

Loved many of his songs. But recently he has been rehashing his old songs to churn out ordinary tunes 
And I don't think it's a 'waste' for him to stick to southie films coz he does his best there. He doesn't have that range like SEL/ARR IMO. Even if he does more Bollywood flicks that would still sound his trademark music which is basically 'south'ish. That's just my opinion.

| To an extent i do agree, but considering that Hindi film Music is now going wider and expanding its horizon, not just sticking to the "Dhin-Chak" rythms of the dholaks.. i feel he could provide a diff flavour.. |

His 'Aasai Aasai' was made into rafta rafta....
Anyways his tamil and malayalam compositions are par excellence. If given more chances in Hindi I am sure he will give everybody a run for their money... |
