Thanks for that Ehsaan Smile

But after hearing "Babuji dhire chalna" in the Salaam-e-Ishq soundtrack it made me think if you guys would ever venture down there again on a regular basis. I have to say that "Hum Bewafa" has really left a mark on me.

If there are any old songs you would ever like to make a version of as SEL in the future, which ones would it be and why? I know Shankar seems to hold a huge soft spot for singing golden oldies in a uniwue way, and as they should be!

p.s. tell Shankar that he rocked at the A R Rahman concert last summer in Wembley London, I was there!! what a night!

Keep in touch

Kaush

Hi,

Just was curious to know if the Bagpipes used in the Title song are sampled sounds?

Eshaan, I (just like everyone on this message board) have been a great fan of yours for years.

One thing I like about your trio is that you give great albums – and you musically balance them too. So many music directors are able to give single hits, but only a few of them like you guys can make the entire CD mesmerizing. You guys and A R Rahman are my favorite music composers. But in my opinion, you are always one step ahead of Rahman because this trait.

I rank S-E-I as one of the best soundtracks of the decade, along with Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Lakshya, Bunty Aur Babli, Garam Masala (I know most of the songs were copied though), Swades, Asoka, Devdas, Yuva, and Main Hoon Na.
