Hey, I hope a lot of SEL fans here did listen to the music of the movie "Dev D". The album is a big one having around 18 songs and all of them are really fresh and different. I suggest watching the movie as well.
The songs are composed by Amit Trivedi, who composed earlier for a thriller movie called "Aamir". Going by his Dev D album, I feel he is a brilliant composer who can sing equally well. 
Did anyone else also like Amit Trivedi's score?? |

| Yes, i liked the songs too..they have their own unique feel to them..all the different sounds including background singers' from this and that part f the speakers gave me a headache after 4 songs.. |

| ^ Yup, I heard it.. decent one! I like - Suno Aisha, Halke Halke, Lahrein. Within 2 years Amit has come among front line composers of Hindi film industry.. the industry desparately needed someone like him |

What I like about him is his instrumentation, just class. I know, most of them are just routine pop stuff, but his songs are all extremely likeable.
That said, I believe he's kinda overrated now.. 
BTW I liked Gal Mithi Mithi

AMIT TREVIDI IS SOME FRESH TALENT.Dev D is a milestone..he does it again with ''AYESHA''..you hear the title track and of course..'Gal Mithi Mithi Bol'!!

Totally agree. Ayesha is yet another gem from Amit Trivedi after DEV D.. All songs are splendid and they have, what I call, repeat value i.e. you want to listen to the songs again and again for a long time and don't get bored with them.
That repeat value is very difficult to achieve I believe and has been achieved by greats like R D Burman, Shankar Jaikishan, Madan Mohan,O P Naiyar and more recently only by SEL and A R Rahman. |
